How fiber optic lighting works in simple terms......
You have a light source (sun, light bulb, etc.) The fiber optic wire is placed in front of the light source and light is conducted through the fiber optic wire and carried anywhere you can imagine. The intensity and glow of the actual fixture depends on the wattage of the bulb and the amount of fiber in the wire going to the fixture. The possibilities are endless.
Unlike standard lighting, fiber optic lighting enables you to change the color of light without changing light bulbs. Simply flicking a switch will rotate a color wheel (which is located between the light source and the fiber optic wire) changing the color of light in the fixtures, so there is no need to change light bulbs for holidays and special occasions. Using multiple light sources will give you more options than a single light source.
